Sri Balaji Rice Mill

Sri Balaji Rice Mill was established in the year 1980 (12/12/1980) in Bellary district (Karnataka). The entire plant is spread over 5 acres of land. It was the first modern rice mill (Binny) in the entire district.

The existing fully automated Buhler plant was installed in the year 2008, along with the then popular Sortex Z color sorter machine.
In 2015, Buhler Sortex S6, a color sorter exclusively designed for rice and imported from London, was installed, making us the first Rice Mill in Karnataka to go with this superior technology of color sorting.
SBRM applied for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, and was certified with the same in 2011, thus becoming the first Rice Mill in Karnataka to be certified with both the certifications.
Recognized as one of the Top 10 Rice Mills in India for 2023 by Industry Outlook Magazine.
